CHINO VALLEY, Ariz. -

A fired employee and her friend broke into a Chino Valley bar and stole almost $500 on Sunday night, according to police.

24-year-olds Natasha Birch and Randy Jarrell allegedly broke into Doreen's Backstreet Bar and Grill and stole about $500.

Chino Valley officers learned Birch was fired Sunday night after she allegedly let an underage man serve himself alcohol.

Police say patrons at the bar became upset with her actions and a fight began.

When managers at Doreen's heard Birch was allegedly allowing an underage man to serve himself, police say she was fired and the bar closed for the night.

Officers found Birch and she later admitted to breaking into the bar with her friend Jarrell.

Police say Jarrell is on probation and admitted to committing the burglary and taking money.

Both Birch and Jarrell were booked into Yavapai County Jail on Burglary and Criminal Damage charges.

Although officers were able to recover some of the stolen money, most of it had already been spent.
