Dangers of heroin addiction

Updated:
PHOENIX -

Heroin has especially taken over the headlines this week.

First coroners announced Cory Monteith, star of Fox's hit show "Glee," died from a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol.

Next the Department of Public Safety found 60 pounds of it in a west valley home. That massive amount has a street value of $1.5 million.

The addictive drug is very prevalent in our culture and destroys lives every day.

FOX 10's Syleste Rodriguez went to Drug Free Arizona to learn more about heroin addiction.
