Sky's Delle Donne and Prince named WNBA All-Star starters

Posted: Updated:

CHICAGO, July 18, 2013 — The WNBA announced Thursday that Chicago Sky's Elena Delle
Donne and Epiphanny Prince have been named in the starting lineup for the 2013 WNBA All-
Star Game presented by Boost Mobile.

In early July Delle Donne made history as the first rookie to lead the All-Star vote at early
returns. Delle Donne again makes history as the league leader in final returns, capturing 35,646 total fan votes. She is the first rookie in WNBA history to win the All-Star vote.
The Chicago Sky selected Delle Donne second overall in the 2013 WNBA Draft presented by
State Farm.

Since joining the Sky she has made her mark in the league. Delle Donne was named
WNBA Rookie of the Month (June) and WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for June
24-30 and July 1-7.

She is the league's top free throw shooter (95.3%). She is also the top rookie in points per game (19.1), total points (268) and minutes per game (32.7).

Joining Delle Donne is teammate and Sky three-point leader Epiphanny Prince. Prince, who was
an All-Star in 2011, received 16,083 to capture a guard spot on the Eastern Conference All-Star
roster. This will be her first All-Star start.

Prince sits fourth in the league in three-point percentage (44.6%) and free-throw percentage
(91.7%). She also is ranked eighth in total three-points made (25).

The 2008 WNBA MVP, Los Angeles Sparks forward Candace Parker ranked second overall in
WNBA All-Star votes (33,810). She led the Western Conference. Joining her is Mercury rookie
Brittney Griner. This is the first time in WNBA history that the top two draft picks made the All-
Star starting lineup.

The All-Star Game presented by Boost Mobile will air live on ABC at 3:30 p.m. ET. Connecticut
Sun will host the game, for the third time in franchise history, at the Mohegan Sun Arena
(Uncasville, Conn.).
