Japanese Advertiser Puts Brands On Women's Thighs

Forget wearing cool T-shirts or hats, a Japanese public relations consultant has decided to step it up. He's using women's thighs to display ads.

Already, more than 3,000 women have signed up for the program.

Hidenori Atsumi is the brains behind this new idea and he says women's thighs are perfect places to place ads. According to Atsumi, men are eager to look at women's thighs, and women usually are okay with exposing their thighs.

To maximize the effectiveness, Atsumi recommends women wear high socks and mini-skirts to draw attention to the brands on their thighs.

To be eligible, women have to be over 18 and have at least 20 connections on social media sites. The program requires participants to walk around the city for eight hours with brands painted on their thighs.

Green Day, and Seth MacFarlane's comedy "Ted" have been seen on women's thighs in Japan's capital, Tokyo.
