Andrew Dice Clay: Woody Allen Wants To Do Stand-up Again

Posted: Updated:
"When Woody Allen wants to meet you, you go see him."  Just about any actor in the world would agree with that policy, but this time it was Andrew Dice Clay who got the call.  That meeting led to Dice Clay co-starring in Woody Allen's latest movie, "Blue Jasmine."

Dice hasn't been in a movie for 12 years, so when he talked about his role in the film, Dice said, "It was a thrill to do something dramatic, something I've always wanted to do."  He said Woody Allen is actually thinking about doing stand-up again, which is not far off of what he did in the past as a stand-up comedian.

Dice Clay also talks about the resurgence of his comedy career, now having residency at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas and coming off of his  Showtime special.

You can also see him at the M15 Concert Bar and Grill in Corona on Sunday, July 28. http://m15concerts.com/
