Cove Trattoria's 3 lasagna recipes

Learn how to make an Italian favorite in time for National Lasagna Day on Monday.

Cove Trattoria, located in Scottsdale, came to FOX 10 to share their recipes for meat, veggie and mushroom lasagna.


 

Meat Lasagna:

1/2 pound ground beef

1/2 pound ground sausage

same mixture of ingredients except use 3 cups of marinara sauce 

Veggie Lasagna:

1/2 zucchini sliced

1/2 squash sliced

1 pound sauteed spinach

saute ingredients with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper

Wild Mushroom Lasagna:

6 oz. button mushroom

6 oz portobello mushroom

2 cups ricotta

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup Romano cheese

1 tsp Kosher salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp granulated sugar

3 cups Vodka cream sauce

Directions: Boil 4 to 6 sheets of lasagna noodles. Drain and cool and lay flat.  Drizzle oil olive over lasagna noddles. Mix all ingredients together in large mixing bowl.  Place 4 to 5 oz scoop of ingredients onto lasagna and layer or roll.  Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
