2 wounded in Phoenix party shooting; police search for suspect

PHOENIX -

Phoenix police are looking for a person who allegedly shot two people early Monday, leaving one with wounds described as life-threatening.
 
The shooting occurred shortly before 3 a.m. in west Phoenix.
 
Sgt. Steve Martos says friends took both victims to a hospital.

By 7 a.m., a large police presence was seen outside of Banner Estrella Hospital's emergency room near 91st Avenue and Thomas Road.
 
Identities haven't been released, and investigators are still trying to determine circumstances of the shooting.
