MESA, Ariz. -

A man has been arrested, accused of intentionally ramming his vehicle into his wife's vehicle during a custody dispute. And to make things worse, his kids were in his wife's car.

Early Monday morning, Mesa Police responded to a custody dispute between Napoleon Alcanzar-Garcia and his wife. Officers gave the woman permission to take the children and told Napoleon to go home.

Napoleon, 30, waited for his wife and followed her home. Then Napoleon tried to block his wife's car from leaving, according to police. He then intentionally rammed the back of her vehicle – while their three kids were in the backseat.

He was booked on charges of aggravated assault and child abuse.

There is an order of protection against Napoleon out of San Diego County.
