CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Chicago police and fire department personnel searched the area in and around Navy Pier for an 18-year-old girl who was reported missing on Wednesday morning, with fire department divers going into the waters of Lake Michigan around the pier.

Not long after the fire department divers came out of the water shortly before 9 a.m. after having found no trace of the young woman, nearby surveillance camera video was found that showed her getting on a bus outside the pier, according to Fire Media Affairs.

The 18-year-old had last been seen on a boat docked at Navy Pier. When she was reported missing on Wednesday morning police searched the area of the pier, while fire department divers searched the water.

About 8:40 a.m. the divers had not found any signs of the missing girl and were preparing to do a "final sweep" of the area before returning to their quarters. According to dispatch reports she was wearing a red striped shirt and blue jeans when last seen.

Not long after that, according to Fire Media, surveillance video was found that showed her getting on a bus. It was not immediately known if the young woman has returned home.
