Health officials investigating Spartan Race rash

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Illinois health officials are trying to track down people who participated in an extreme obstacle course race in Marseilles, Illinois last month.

Dozens of people who took part in the Spartan Race back on July 20 have now developed a serious rash.

Health officials aren't sure if it was sparked by poison ivy, insect bites or something else.

A Facebook page called "Spartan Rash" has more information about the rash and the symptoms.
