The Pima County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 26-year-old man who worked as a kindergarten teacher in Sells, Arizona, for luring a minor for sexual exploitation.

In July, undercover Tucson police detectives assumed the identity of a 13-year-old Tucson boy who had solicited adult companionship on the internet. They took over correspondence between the boy and several adult males.

The detective spoke with a man later identified as Jaime Miguel Campos, Jr. Police say Campos sent explicit photographs to the boy during the course of their communications, and described explicit sexual acts in which he wished to engage with the boy.

A meeting date and time was set, and there, detectives took Campos into custody.

He was charged with aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation and attempted sexual conduct with a minor.

Detectives notified the superintendent of the school district in Sells of Campos' arrest. In addition, during the course of their investigation, police learned that the kindergarten teacher was a suspect in an unrelated investigation involving a young girl.

Another man was arrested during the internet sting -- 64-year-old Thomas Hand. Hand was charged with luring a minor for sex exploitation and attempted sexual conduct with a minor.

The police department is thanking the family who brought the young boy's communications to their attention.
