Thief hides under victim's truck at Commerce Lifetime Fitness

COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -

An 18-year-old man from West Bloomfield was working out at the Commerce Lifetime Fitness early Sunday morning. When he came out to the parking lot, an armed thief jumped out from under his truck and robbed him.

The victim says he lost about $150 is the fiasco. The masked thug ran away before police arrived.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6' 1" and 220 lbs. He was wearing a black hoodie and gloves.

Anyone with information about this armed robbery is urged to call the Oakland County Sheriff's Department.
