Police Chief On Indefinite Suspension, Hearing Postponed

Updated:
GILBERTON, Pa. -

A Schuylkill County police chief who posted videos of himself firing guns and swearing online will have to wait a while longer to find out if he'll be fired.

Mark Kessler fired automatic weapons owned by Gilberton Borough in his pro-gun videos.

They sparked cries for his resignation.

A disciplinary hearing was scheduled for Friday, but it was postponed.

Friday was also supposed to be the last day of Kessler's 30 day suspension.

But, borough officials say that suspension will continue indefinitely until the hearing, which is expected to happen next week.

In his latest YouTube video rant this week, Kessler used a photograph of a clown -- which he reportedly gave the same first name as a borough official -- for target practice.
