SURPRISE, Ariz. -

A 14-year-old girl from Surprise was found Thursday around 6 p.m. by Orange County Sheriff's deputies in Aliso Viejo, California.

According to Surprise Police, OCSD deputies were called to a residence when the father of a 17-year-old male became suspicious about the amount of time his son's new girlfriend, Vaghe Cain, was spending in his home.  The father asked Vaghe for her parent's contact information and became suspicious when she refused to provide it and called OCSD.

Vaghe and her boyfriend fled from the residence prior to deputies arriving at the scene, but were found a short time later not far from the home.

"Police learned from the initial investigation that Vaghe has known her 17-year-old boyfriend for approximately one year and the two met while playing Xbox Live.  Prior to leaving her home on Friday, September 6, Vaghe made arrangements with her boyfriend for him to drive to Surprise and bring her back to his home in California," stated Sgt. Bert Anzini of the Surprise Police Department.

Vaghe was in good health and is currently being held by OCSD until she can be reunited with her family.

Anzini says the incident remains under investigation and no charges are pending at this time.
