DECATUR, Ga. -

A local high school is making security changes for football fans after several armed robberies after a game.

According to police, three students were robbed of their iPhones at gunpoint while walking to their cars after Decatur High School's game on August 30.

Decatur City Schools Superintendent Dr. Phyllis Edwards said that the incidents have sparked changes that began on Friday.

Officials asked people attending Friday night's football game to leave their bags at home. That includes purses. Mandatory searches were conducted on bags brought to the game.

There was also police presence; security was doubled from six to a dozen officers. The school is also in the process of enhancing the lights around the field.

Three people are in custody in connection with the August 30 crimes; authorities are looking to identify a fourth suspect.

Anyone with information about the fourth suspect is asked to call the Decatur Police Department at 404-373-6551.
