The Los Angeles City Council's Economic Development Committee now backing a resolution urging the National Football League to bring back at least one, if not two teams. That after 18 long years since the NFL has played in LA. The full City Council is now expected to consider the resolution.
Councilman Thomas LaBonge, the author of the resolution, writing a letter to Roger Goodell, the NFL Commissioner, urging the league call, " an audible after years of unfulfilled plans." LaBonge saying he is puzzled none of the current "32 teams playing in the league doesn't want to come here to sunny Southern California".
