MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police in Macomb County say a 63-year-old man faces up to four years in prison after he threatened neighbors with a firearm and triggered a brief standoff outside his Mt. Clemens apartment.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham says Danny Harless pointed a gun at neighbors Tuesday morning following an argument near his home on Clinton River Drive at Beyne St. Harless then retreated back into his apartment.

The Macomb Co. S.W.A.T. team was called to the scene and made entry to the apartment where Harless was found "passed out." He was apprehended and transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Harless was then transferred to the Macomb Co. jail where he is being held on a $300,000 bond.

He faces three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and faces a maximum penalty of 4 years in prison and a $2,000 fine.
