85-year-old veteran addresses troops one more time

COBB COUNTY, Ga. -

A decorated war veteran was given the address to address troops as their leader one more time on Wednesday.

Charles Barber, 85, put on his full uniformed and talked to a group of ROTC cadets from Georgia State. He also took part in a formal flag folding ceremony.

The nonprofit, Second Wind Dreams, helped to grant Barber's wish.

Barber, who enlisted in 1947, served in Korea and Vietnam and left the Army as a lieutenant colonel after 25 years.

He said that it make a lot to him to so many people taking interest in his dream.
