Several people were injured Wednesday after a vehicle collided with a light rail train at Central Ave and Roosevelt.
Police say the driver of a SUV ran a red light and traveled into the path of the light rail, where it was T-boned.
The 57-year-old driver and a female passenger who is pregnant were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Two light rail passengers were also taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Fire officials say light rail riders had to force the train's doors open to get out.
