ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — The Tropicana Casino and Resort has received New Jersey's 5th Internet gambling permit.

The state is preparing for the late November launch of online gambling in New Jersey, which will begin Nov. 26 after a 5-day invitation-only test period to make sure all the systems work properly.

Tropicana received its permit Monday. The state has also given permits to the Borgata, the Golden Nugget, Trump Plaza and the Trump Taj Mahal.

The Tropicana has joined with Gamesys Limited, which runs the jackpotjoy.com website.

New Jersey is the third state in the nation to offer online gambling, along with Nevada and Delaware.
