A suspect is wanted for a botched crop job on a puppy's ears.

Someone told the owner of a young pit bull that he'd crop the dog's ears, instead he mutilated the dog's ears by using a boxcutter and scissors.

The procedure left the puppy permanently disfigured and put at risk for hearing loss.

The suspect is a Hispanic man, 30 to 35-years-old, shaved face and bald with skull tattoos on each side of his head.

He's known to walk a pit bull near McDowell and 26th Street and may go by the name "Robert" or "Roberto."

If you know who he is, you're asked to call silent witness at 480-WITNESS.
