Len Berman remembers Bill Mazer

Posted: Updated:
MYFOXNY.COM - Longtime sports anchor Len Berman knew Bill Mazer well. Mazer died on Wednesday at the age of 92.

The former FOX 5 sports anchor was fondly remembered by colleagues and fellow sports enthusiasts.

“My first memory of Bill I was in high school. Before there was 24-hour sports talk he was the first phone sports call-in show. He’d go up to the studio without notes. He had a photographic memory. He went on to radio and worked until the very end," said Berman.
