Police Search For Suspects Who Wore Clown Masks

Posted: Updated:

Police are searching for men who wore clown masks and abducted a young girl on Halloween night.

A 15-year-old girl told Philadelphia Police she was waiting for the trolley on 65th Street and Chester Avenue.

They say that's when two men wearing clown masks grabbed her and forced her in the backseat of a black four door with tinted windows.

Police say the men drove around for about 30 minutes, before the girl was able to jump out of the moving vehicle by Cobbs Creek Park.

"I can't believe this happened in my community right up the street, where little children are. This is crazy. And I am always looking out to see anything... I don't care who you are, " Neighbor Francis Zimmerman said.

The girl was not hurt. Police say the men were not armed.
