League Expresses Shock At President's Arrest

BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. -

A Bucks County Youth football League breaks its silence on the arrest of their president.

The Levittown Lions Athletic Association says it is shocked and saddened by the arrest of its president.

Falls Township Police have charged Keith Peschen with sex offenses involving a team cheerleader who was under the age of 13.

The youth football league has released a statement saying, in part:

"We have always done background checks and without a prior arrest record, no red flags have ever come up in this regard. We as a league are devastated."

Prosecutors are trying to determine if any other youngsters were victimized.
