PHOENIX -

Veteran Ben Lunak partially lost his leg while he was serving our country, but he doesn't let it slow him down.

Lunak was a gunner on top of a Humvee in Iraq when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb on Feb. 25, 2006.

Many would commend Lunak for continuing to stay active, but he's done much more than that.

Lunak has become an avid CrossFit athlete, which is no easy feat.

The intense workout can be tough for anybody, but Lunak doesn't allow his disability to affect the goals he wants to achieve.
