TREVOSE, Pa. -

Fire crews were on the scene of a tanker caught on fire in Trevose, PA.

The front cab of the tanker caught on fire on Wednesday at around 9:30am on Old Lincoln Highway & Rt. 1.

Fire crews were dispatched to northbound route 1 near Street Road in Bensalem Township where a tanker truck on fire was carrying 7500 gallons of diesel fuel.

The truck was pulled off the side of the road after the driver noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment.
