Arizona Cardinals' Bidwill weighs in on winning season

It sure is fun to have a winning NFL team in town.  The Cardinals have three straight victories now and have won more games so far this season than they did all of last season.

I had a chance to sit down and talk with team President Michael Bidwill about how things are going so far.

For those who think success starts at the top, part of the credit for the Arizona Cardinals' three game win streak has to be traced back to Bidwill.  This year, he hired a head coach and a new general manager, who seem to be working out.

"I'm really excited about the job B.A. is doing and the job Steve Kiem is doing.. what they've done in terms of changing the culture of our locker room.. changing the accountability.. the performance... and what we're doing on the field.. I'm really excited about it," he said.

Bidwill says he's most excited about how the team has seemed to get better game to game.

"There's been big improvement with our offense.. no drop off in fact improvement with our defense.. and across the board I think our team is playing better."

As team president, Michael is firmly in charge of the Cardinals now, but his 82-year-old father Bill Bidwill still comes into his office in the team's headquarters every day.

"I handle most things now, but I always talk to him about the bigger things. We've got a great relationship.. have had for a long time.. I always seek my father's advice and I dont think that will ever change."

So does Michael see himself running the Arizona Cardinals until his golden years?

"I love what I'm doing.. I'm excited about the future... and I'm excited about what we are doing on the field right now too."
