Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in connection with the murder of Jerome Hill.

Jerome Hill was gunned down on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Dickerson and Wade while walking to a bus stop on Detroit's east side. Hill was walking toward the bus stop when an unidentified vehicle pulled alongside of him and the passenger began shooting.  When Hill started to run he was shot in the arm and stomach. The incident took place at 4 a.m.

Hill was 61 years old. He worked for Motor City Stamping for 15 years as a Machine Press Operator. He was a father of four children: Jeremy, 16;  Jerome, 19; Breiana, 23; and Aneisha, 36.

Aneisha spoke Tuesday at a Crime Stoppers news conference saying: "We are just asking and pleading for you assistance. If you know anything, how big or small, we just ask that you call Crime Stoppers and remain anonymous - it could lead to an arrest for my father's murder. It was so unfair and we are just completely seeking justice."

Anyone who has information regarding the crime should call Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or 1-800-773-2587. All calls and cash rewards are completely anonymous.
