'Philly' The Rescued Dog Recovers & Returns

Posted: Updated:

Remember Philly? If not, you may want to ckick and read our story: FOX 11 told the amazing story of three LAPD officers who rescued a dog left for dead alongside the road.

If it wasn't for three LAPD officers, Philly wouldn't be here today...or on Good Day LA Tuesday. Philly was joined by two of his rescuers, Officers Jennifer Cohen and Valerie Lancaster. They took Philly to the vet and saved his life...and also raised money for all the necessary surgeries.

Now they've started a foundation for other abused, neglected animals and brought Philly along with two of his friends to talk about it Tuesday morning.

For more information on the foundation, go to phillyphoundation.org.
