SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

Three minor-league baseball players were injured when a van and a car collided near Scottsdale Road and Chaparral.

Scottsdale police say a 12-person van had pulled out of a private driveway and was crossing the northbound lanes when a sedan crashed into it.

The driver of the sedan wasn't injured.

The van had 12 people in it, who are reportedly minor league baseball players with the San Francisco Giants in town for a training camp.

Three of the people were injured and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The roadway was closed for about 90 minutes while police investigated, but is now clear.

Both minor and major San Francisco Giants teams have Spring Training in Scottsdale.
