TEMPE, Ariz. -

Tempe Police detectives arrested a 15-year-old male and his 17-year-old female friend for conspiracy to commit murder Tuesday.

According to the police report, the male wanted to have his grandmother killed with the assistance of the female, who told him that she could have the woman killed.

"They desired to make it look like an accident," stated Sgt. Michael Pooley.  "Police were notified when someone saw the 15-year-old's Facebook page which he had accidentally left open while using a computer. Police interviewed the 15-year-old male during which time he stated he wanted his grandmother dead because he was tired of being in trouble and disciplined by her."

The juveniles were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, which is a class one felony.

The teens' names will not be released since they are underage.
