Pin Ups For Vets: Raising Money To Help Veterans

Posted: Updated:

Gina Elise is the founder of Pin Ups for Vets. She raises money with her World War II-style calendar to help veterans with their medical costs.

She is traveling the country visiting vets at medical hospitals bring them care packages and gifts, but is here today with models to show us some of the looks you can find inside her calendar.

There is also a Salute & Shimmy USO-style fundraiser on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 8pm at the Historic American Legion Post 43 at 2035 N Highland Avenue in Hollywood. The show will benefit Pin Ups for Vets with the Dollface Dames -- LA's theatrical burlesque troupe. The evening will be filled with WWII Era dancing, music, comedy and more -- all in a classic glamour-girl style.  Active military and veterans can get in for free. Civilians $20.  RSVP for this event.

If you want to get the '40s look, you can find all the outfits Gina had on the show today at Bettie Page Clothing's website.

For more information, visit the Pin Ups For Vets website, their Facebook page and their Twitter page.
