Philly Police Seek Sling Shot Burglar

Philadelphia Police need the public's help in identifying a burglar who used a slingshot as his weapon.

According to police, the suspect targeted the Palm Tree Market in Manayunk on December 1st, 2013 at 4:56 a.m. on the 4300 block of Cresson Street.

Surveillance shows the suspect spending more than 45 minutes trying to break the glass with a slingshot. Eventually, he gets in and takes some cigars and loose change, investigators report.

The suspect description according to authorities: White male, thin build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans with a thick black belt.
