NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - Two Arizona residents have been arrested and four children placed in protective custody after marijuana was found in the pickup they were traveling in along Interstate 80 in western Nebraska.

The Nebraska State Patrol says a trooper stopped the pickup for speeding a little before 8:45 p.m. Sunday about seven miles west of North Platte. The trooper reported finding more than 128 pounds of pot inside luggage.

The patrol says 34-year-old Jose Armenta, of Tucson, Ariz., and 31-year-old Ana Olivarria, also of Tucson, likely face charges of child neglect and possession of marijuana for sale. Lincoln County Jail records say both remained in custody on Tuesday. Online court records don't list the names of their attorneys.

The children were ages 11, 6, 5 and 9 months.
