CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

JP Morgan Chase & Co announced Saturday that due to the recent security breach at Target, they will be limiting some debit card transactions to $100 in cash withdrawals and $300 in total purchases, Reuters reports.

According to Reuters, JP Morgan Chase notified all their customers who used a debit card at Target during the time of the breach of these limitations.

Reuters quoted Chase's website where the company said, "We realize this could not have happened at a more inconvenient time with the holiday season upon us We are taking these precautions to combat fraud and prevent criminals from using Chase cards."

According to Reuters about two million accounts are expected to be affected by these limits.

The limits are also occurring while Target is offering an extra 10 percent off to people who shop Saturday and Sunday.
