Men, 31 and 23, slain in argument at Detroit home

DETROIT (AP) -- A 51-year-old woman and her 26-year-old boyfriend are being sought following the slayings of two men in a northwest Detroit home.

Detroit Police 3rd Deputy Chief Rodney Johnson says the boyfriend and the woman's 20-year-granddaugher were involved in an argument about 10 p.m. Sunday.

The older woman apparently had asked her granddaughter to leave the home.

Police say the male suspect shot the 31- and 23-year-old victims in the head when they tried to intercede in the argument.

Johnson says the suspects drove away in a 2001 burgundy Chevy Impala. The car's Michigan license plate number is CPL 5914.
