Woman sought in string of Marietta car break-ins

Posted: Updated:
MARIETTA, Ga. -

Police are searching for a woman who might have information about a series of car break-ins in Marietta.

Back on Dec. 23, authorities said about a dozen cars in a corridor of Bells Ferry Road were broken into.

Surveillance video captured a woman using a credit card stolen from one of those cars. Police said the woman is known to frequent the Windy Hill Road area in Smyrna. She may drive a light blue to gray Chrysler PT Cruiser.

Authorities are not calling the woman a suspect, saying only that she is a person of interest. Anyone with information on her identity is asked to call police at 770-794-6990.
