TEMPE, Ariz. -

She was hit in a Tempe Walmart parking lot in a crash caused by a suspected drunk driver, but that woman miraculously survived -- only suffering broken bones.

The video of a Walmart shopper being hit by a car and sent flying into the air is shocking and hard to forget, but the suspected drunk driver accused of causing this parking lot chaos says she doesn't remember it at all!

According to court paperwork, when an officer questioned Christy Marie Kupper that night, she said she could not remember anyone being hit, only remembering hitting a car.  She also said she didn't remember being involved in a crash at the intersection of Southern and Rural.

Police say she fled that scene and sped through the Walmart parking lot to get away.

Her lawyer disputed that during her initial court appearance.

"The date of this incident she was not trying to flee.  She was pulling off into the parking lot.  She had no intention of leaving the scene of the accident."

The paperwork shows Kupper told the officer she had consumed four beers in one hour before getting behind the wheel.

Kupper took a breathalyzer test on scene and blew a .261 blood alcohol level -- more than three times the legal limit -- something not even she could believe.

"The B.A.C. on the PBT was .261," said the judge.

"I don't know how it got that high.. that's crazy," said Kupper.

Kupper was released on bond.  She is not allowed to drive and must wear an ankle bracelet.

No one answered the door at her Phoenix home on Tuesday.

She faces 13 criminal counts, including extreme DUI and aggravated assault.

Again, the woman who was hit survived and is recovering in a hospital.
