Cut-a-thon raises funds for brain cancer victim

Stylists at a Surprise salon spent the day hosting a cut-a-thon. They're trying to raise donations for a co-worker who's 12-year-old daughter is fighting brain cancer.

Stylists at Chace Salon used every tool today giving a quality cut in exchange for donations.

"Its amazing humbling the love and support that we have is extraordinary" said Rose Heil.

Rose and Jason Heil learned that their oldest daughter Cabrina has an inoperable brain tumor in December.

"Cabrina is the most,loving caring exceptional kid on the planet she takes care of everyone she's thoughtful she just is the light of our life always has been" said Rose.

"Cabrina's just the best helper in our household she takes charge  of the kids def that big sister mentality" said Jason Heil.

22 stylists will donate their commission and tips today there goal is for Rose to be able to stay home during this time.

"All of us girls in here we bond together because we want her to be able to stay home and be with her daughter and take great care of here and be a mom" said Kim Peacock, owner of the salon.

Cabrina's parents and all stylist wear shirts that say 'live 4 today'.

"You don't know what the best moment is gonna be and so for me to take the time and be home with her is huge" said Rose.

"It's just really remembering the importance of each day and going and making the best of it" said Jason.
