Madeleine Brand's Show: Press Play

Posted: Updated:

Madeleine Brand pays a visit to Good Day LA to chat about her new show called "Press Play," now airing at noon on 89.9FM KCRW.

Madeleine says she has been a listener and member of KCRW ever since she returned to Los Angeles a decade ago to host NPR's "Day to Day." She also says she wants "Press Play" to continue KCRW's role as a cultural destination for Los Angeles.

"Press Play" is KCRW's first original daily program since 2001 and will air around the popular shows "Morning Becomes Eclectic" and "To the Point."

"The World," which was previously at 12:00pm, will now air at 3:00pm, and "All Things Considered" will consequently start at 4:00pm, instead of 3:00pm. All other programming will remain the same.

You can listen live at noon or download it later through the website kcrw.com, and connect with her show on social media:

Born and raised in Liverpool, signed by an inexperienced agent named Brian Epstein, hustled into the studio with a genius producer named George Martin...and out of that session came a hit song called "Do You Want To Know A Secret." Now here's the twist…we're not talking about The Beatles.
