Police arrested a third suspect they believe was involved in a deadly 2006 car fire.

Edgar Santellanes was burned to death after a car was lit on fire near 59th Avenue and Bethany Home Road on June 10, 2006.

Santellanes' body was found in the trunk of the burned car.

According to a police report, a brown pickup truck was seen leaving the car fire.

Police stopped the truck and discovered the driver was Victor Baca. His two passengers fled the area.

A police report reveals Baca, Heriberto Amaro and a man known to Baca as "Mike Lopez" went to a home near 83rd Avenue and Glendale Avenue to steal marijuana from Santellanes.

According to police, the real identity of "Mike Lopez" is Pedro Pineda-Manriquez.

During the robbery, Santellanes was allegedly put in the trunk before it was set on fire by Heriberto and Pineda-Manriquez.

Heriberto was later identified and found in Mexico and was extradited back to the US where he is in custody for Santellanes' murder.

Almost eight years later, Pineda-Manriquez was arrested on Monday during a routine traffic stop.

Pineda-Manriquez faces charges of first degree murder and armed robbery.
