Harmony Hopes Be The Star In A Forever Family Story

Posted: Updated:

This year's awards season is just about to come to a close, but before it does we are submitting one more nomination for your consideration. This week's Wednesday's Child features Harmony (2000) on location at Doris Bergman's Annual Oscar Valentine and Style Party at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood.

With giftings of watches, dresses and accessories of all kinds, Harmony was given the VIP treatment by all as she humbly worked her way around the room. In many ways, Harmony is your typical teen-next-door who enjoys hanging out with her friends, going to the movies and trying to navigate through the first couple years of teenhood.

In spite of her journey in foster care, Harmony holds a positive outlook with a good bit of confidence and belief in her future. Harmony wouldn't be opposed to becoming a Hollywood star, but she is gearing herself towards college and a dream of becoming a lawyer someday. Harmony would like to advocate for others and is genuine when it comes to the well-being of people. As to her own well being, Harmony strives to do well in school to assist her in accomplishing her future endeavors.

Before calling it a wrap at this Oscar Style Party, Harmony got a surprise encounter with veteran actress Charlene Tilton, best known for her role as "Lucy" from the original "Dallas" TV series. Harmony discovered that she and Charlene shared some commonalities, as Ms. Tilton had also been in foster care as a teen and both share a tenacity to succeed even in the face of
adverse odds. In turn, we are reaching out to help increase the odds of Harmony winning a role of a lifetime as part of a permanent family.

This week we want to make a federal case for Joseph (1998) finding a forever family, so we obtained the necessary clearances to accompany Joseph to the Los Angeles Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). And during our friendly investigation, we found Joseph to be a dynamic teen with a good bit of focus and determination for someone his age.

California motorists are burdened with the highest gas tax in the nation: 71 cents for every gallon of gas purchased. If that was not enough, along comes AB-32 that mandates that vehicle fuel production will be, in effect, taxed beginning in 2015.

We're in the hazy days of August and soon it will be back-to-school for many children… or the very first day of school for kids like Khalid (2009), who will be starting kindergarten soon. But before he heads off to school, we swooped up Khalid and his baby sister Ah'Niyah (2011) for a day of fun and play at Pelican Pier at Shoreline Village in Long Beach, California.
