DETROIT (WJBK) -

Motorists crossing the Mack Bridge between Connor and St. Jean streets are concerned for their safety.

The bridge is riddled with potholes and, in some spots, you can even see the reinforcement bar.

The city says the bridge is structurally sound but repairs are already scheduled for later this year.

The potholes were just recently fixed by the Detroit Department of Public Works, but then another round of heavy snow fell and the holes were opened back up. FOX 2's Taryn Asher was told a crew plans to return to the bridge this week.
