BARTLETT, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A 16-year-old girl as arrested Wednesday after police say she left a bomb threat on the voicemail of her northwest suburban high school.

Bartlett police were called to Bartlett High School at 701 W. Schick Rd. about 8 a.m. Wednesday after a staff member of the school found the bomb threat in a voicemail message, a statement from police said.

The high school was searched, but nothing "threatening" or "suspicious" was found, according to police, who said there was "no credible threat to the students and staff members..."

Police later traced the call back to the 16-year-old female student, who was charged as a juvenile with felony disorderly conduct. She was petitioned to DuPage County Juvenile Court in Wheaton.
