PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

The Mertlich family is expecting their fourth child. They have one boy and two girls, look at what happened when that boy found out he's getting another sister.

Six year old Gunner Mertlich did not want to see pink when he cut into a cake last week to find out whether he would get a baby brother or another little sister.

"I don't like girls... I knew it was a girl, I knew it's another girl, I hate girls, every time, its girl girl girl girl, it's all gonna be a girl," said Gunner.

We went to Gunner's house to find out why he got so upset.

"Because I wanted a boy because I want to play batman because I don't want to play princess with girls," said Gunner.

His parents Tiffany and Jason took the video so their family in Washington could take part in the reveal. Now they watch it and even gunner laughs.

The Mertlich family is not the only ones enjoying their video  yesterday it had 18k likes. Tiffany and Jason cannot believe their typically mellow son is now an internet star.

"We thought he would be disappointed, but we didn't know we'd get that reaction, he always said I want a brother, but not like I really want a brother, we didn't know, so we were pretty surprised. We didn't know it was gonna be that bad," said

If you cannot tell. Gunner adores his little sisters Harper and Paisley, and now that he's calmed down  he can't wait for another.

The baby girl is due august 19th and the Mertlich's might try to have a boy again.

If they do, they promised to take a video of the next reveal.
