PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Police are still searching for a man who used a stun gun to rob an employee as she was carrying a cash deposit into a gold buying business.

At first glance, the video appears to be a purse snatch, but police say this is a well planned and executed armed robbery.

The employee was incapacitated by a stun gun and now her husband, who is the store's owner, tells us she is pregnant.

"It looks like he was lying in wait for her," said Sgt. Darren Burch of Silent Witness.

Surveillance video shows an employee of Gold Rush near 43rd Avenue and Dunlap closing the door of her car when she was attacked in the parking lot by a man with a stun gun.

"You see him basically tasing her on the ground with the device.  She's hurt, but nothing seriously.. luckily.  And then he takes off with the money bag," explained Burch.

The owner of the Gold Buying business says the victim is his wife, who's three to four months pregnant.  He says she and the baby are fine, but says she's shaken up.

He says he's never seen the suspect before.

Burch says the suspect can be seen twice in the video.

"He initially walks past her.  I think as a ruse.  Walks in the business for a second time when she goes in the back door of her car and pulls out the money bag.  That's when he leaves the business quickly and rushes towards her."

The robbery happened last Wednesday in broad daylight around 1 p.m.  Police say the woman was carrying a cash deposit into the store when she was robbed.

"It looks like this was well planned, well thought out, well executed.  He then jumps a fence and makes his getaway in an apartment complex," said Burch.

If you know who this is, you'll recognize him from the video.

Police aren't saying how much money the robber got away with.

The suspect was seen getting into a dark gray or black Chrysler 300 with a temporary tag and 20 inch chrome rims.
