Detroit Windsor Tunnel closed morning of April 27

(WJBK) - City officials say the Detroit Windsor Tunnel will be closed Sunday, April 27 from 7 a.m. - 10 a.m. for a training exercise.

The training exercise is said to involve the City of Detroit Office of Homeland Security, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Canada Border Services Agency.

Travelers who need to cross the border during that time are advised to use the Ambassador Bridge as an alternate route.
