GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - A Glendale woman accused in the burning and dumping of a man's body in the Arizona desert has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Court records show Judge Rosa Mroz sentenced Jennifer Griffith on Friday.

Maricopa County prosecutors charged both Griffith and her husband, Daniel, with second-degree murder and abandonment and concealment of a dead body.

They were arrested after the body of a missing Phoenix man was found near the White Tank Mountains in February 2012.

Prosecutors alleged the victim was lured to the desert, shot and then set on fire.

Daniel Griffith was sentenced in October to 25 ½ years in prison after pleading guilty to the charges. He was also accused of trying to use the victim's credit card soon after the killing.
