STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -
DeKalb police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a Saturday afternoon shooting.
According to police Amos King was found lying in the driveway of a Stone Mountain residence. Police said King was bleeding from his thigh and had tied a tourniquet around his leg.
King said that he had traveled to the residence to serve court papers. While serving the papers King claimed that two black males came from around the house and shot him in the thigh. King stated that he only heard one gunshot and that the suspects did not take anything from him.
The suspects are believed to have escaped the scene in a red van. Police started that the residence appeared to have several forced entries at the front and rear of the house. Electronics were also found to be stacked at the front of the house.
King was transported to Grady Hospital in critical condition. Witnesses say they heard a gunshot as well as a car peeling out and driving away.
The suspects are being described as two black males between 19 and 25 years old.
