Neighbor Assists With Fire Escape

Posted: Updated:
CAMDEN, N.J. -

Firefighters responded to the scene of an early-morning fire in Camden.

Crews responded to the fire on the 200 block of Mount Vernon Street around 4 a.m. Friday.

A neighbor who woke for a drink of water and heard a man screaming out a window for help called police and encouraged him to get out of the house.

Occupants of the home were able to escape, and no serious injuries were reported.

You can hear from that neighbor in FOX 29's Steve Keeley's video report from the scene.
